So you have money questions, huh? Hey, no shame there, we all do! But who should you go too for your questions: a financial advisor or a financial coach? What's the difference? Let's jump into that here.
Here at Ramsey we have two main sources for financial advice. That is our SmartVestor Pro (our financial investment advisors) and our Ramsey Preferred Coaches. These two roles may sounds similar but they serve very different purposes. Why don't we start with our SmartVestor Pros.
SmartVestor is our program for our endorsed financial investment professionals. These pros help our fans specifically with investment questions. If you are in our Baby Steps these pros will come into the picture during Baby Step 4. We encourage people to be completely debt free and have an emergency fund of 3-6 months saved before working with a SmartVestor Pro. However, when that is done and you are ready to start your retirement or saving for your kids college funds these are the folks who will get the job done! Now onto our Ramsey Preferred Coaches; what can they help with? Well our coaches are just that, they can help coach you through specific financial situation on a more personal level. It is the most detailed, comprehensive program offered. A Ramsey trained coach can assess your situation and help you progress to where you want to be in your financial journey. Whether it's helping you design a budget, establishing a plan for paying debts, saving for a house, or addressing any needs unique to your situation a Ramsey Preferred Coach is always ready to help out!
