We're so sorry about that! Here are some steps to take if you are experiencing trouble logging into your SmartTax account:
1. Access the SmartTax login page in a different browser than the one that was having issues.
2. Open an incognito window in the current browser and try logging in again.
3. Clear cache/cookies, then log in again to see if it improves.
If you've filed with TaxSlayer (the company that powers the SmartTax software) directly in the past, then you will need to visit their website to reset your username or password. TaxSlayer login credentials are separate from SmartTax login credentials. These are two different websites that exist and function independently.
