How do I File an Amended Return with Ramsey SmartTax?

To file an amended return via Ramsey SmartTax, follow these steps:

1. Locate the [Applicable Year] Tax Return option within your SmartTax dashboard
2. Click Access Return
3. In the dashboard on the left-hand side of the screen, locate the [Applicable Year] Tax Return option

The nonrefundable fee to file an amendment through SmartTax is $42. To save on cost, you may opt to submit your amended return directly through the IRS website.

Important: SmartTax does not support amended returns from years further back than the previous tax year.
